GET IT High School Improv Troupe

We are BACK! The popular teen improv troupe "GET IT" (Georgia Ensemble Theatre Improv Troupe...get it?) is back! GET IT meets weekly on Saturdays with performances throughout the year at the GET Studio Theatre. Students will work with GET Artistic & Education Director Laurel Crowe, and guests to create a strong performance team.
New student auditions: please email Laurel Crowe education@get.org to schedule an audition.
Additional rehearsals may be required prior to performances.

GET IT JV!!!
This performance improv troupe is for experienced students (6th-12th grade) who are ready to dig deep into the challenging (and often hilarious) art of improvisational theatre. GET IT: JV meets weekly on Saturdays and will have a public show at the end of the semester.
A perfect add-on for our Intermediate Ensemble or young actors ready to dig deeper into their theatre craft.

Intermediate Ensemble: MUSICAL

Ages: 10 - 13
Our Intermediate Ensemble is a performance group that creates a one-act production two times a year. Original and scripted works, this program is for middle school and advanced elementary school students who are ready for the next level of challenge and training.
This class is appropriate for upper elementary and middle-grade students who have prior experience and are looking for an elevated training experience. Previous classes/camps are suggested, but not required.
Wednesdays- 6:00-8:00 PM. Saturdays- 12:00-3:00 PM.
SPRING 2025: Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach JR! A colorful, lively, and wickedly sharp musical by Pasek & Paul (Dear Evan Hansen). This musical is challenging and full of absolutely vibrant characters. A beautiful story about the family you choose.

Tech & Dress Rehearsals: April 22-24, 2025 from 5:30-8:00 PM
Performances: April 25th and 26th at 7PM and April 27th at 2PM
All students must be available for all performances.
Advanced Teen Ensemble
with Tyler Graham
Advanced Teen students work on original plays and participate in skill-based intensives. ATE meets two times a week and will perform at the end of the semester.
This program requires an elevated level of commitment and work from our students. Audition required. New student auditions on August 7th from 6:00-8:00PM. Please contact Laurel Crowe for an audition appointment (education@get.org).
