Junior Performance Ensemble: A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS

Join us for a heartwarming journey into friendship, laughter, and life’s little adventures! This winter, the Junior Ensemble will bring Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters to the stage in the musical A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS.

Seussical the Musical!

"Oh, the thinks you can think!” when Dr. Seuss’s best-loved characters collide in this fantastical musical adventure! From the Cat in the Hat to Horton the Elephant, Seussical the Musical brings imagination to life through colorful storytelling, catchy songs, and heartwarming lessons about friendship, courage, and believing in yourself.
Students will explore singing, dancing, and acting while building confidence and creativity in a supportive ensemble environment. The session will culminate in a joyful final performance that celebrates their hard work and showcases the world of Seuss on stage!
Throughout the program, students will:
✨ Explore acting, singing, and choreography in a fully staged production
✨ Develop strong ensemble skills while also tackling standout character moments
✨ Learn how to bring Sondheim’s intricate music and lyrics to life
✨ Work with professional directors, choreographers, and teaching artists

The Actors Lab

Every great performer starts with a strong foundation. In this class, teens will explore the essential skills every actor needs to shine on stage and screen. Through engaging exercises, theatre games, and scene work, students will learn how to:

✨ Use body language and movement to tell a story

✨ Work as an ensemble with fellow actors
✨ Strengthen focus, creativity, and stage presence
The semester will culminate in a fully staged one-act play, giving students the opportunity to put their new skills into practice and share their work with family and friends. Whether you’re brand new to theatre or ready to sharpen your craft, this class is the perfect first step into the world of acting. Students will leave with a strong set of acting “tools” and the confidence to take the stage!
