From design concept to running a show, our design & technical students work with professional theatre designers to create our Advanced Teen Ensemble & Intermediate Ensemble productions.
Students meet on Mondays & Saturdays, tech week and performances.
Intermediate Ensemble: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe

Our Intermediate Ensemble is a performance group that creates a one-act production two times a year. Original and scripted works, this program is for middle school and advanced elementary school students who are ready for the next level of challenge and training.
This class is appropriate for upper elementary and middle-grade students who have prior experience and are looking for an elevated training experience. Previous classes/camps are suggested, but not required.

Wednesdays- 6:00-8:00 PM. Saturdays- 12:00-3:00 PM.

Shakespeare performance does not have to be scary. The characters and stories that Shakespeare scultped have survived hundreds of years, entertaining and moving audiences to tears and laughter. Work on character development, monologues, scene work, and strengthening your voice in this dynamic class using Shakespearean text.

The No Drama Comedy Class

Welcome to an exciting new series designed for actors and aspiring performers ready to elevate their skills!
Led by Michael White, host of The No Drama Comedy Show at Georgia Ensemble Theatre, you'll create your very first comedy set and perform it live at your Graduation Show. Throughout the course, you'll dive into the art of joke writing, embrace failure with confidence, the basics of performance, and discover your unique comedic voice. Get ready to push creative boundaries, own your stage presence, and have an unforgettable time along the way!
Taught by Michael White, a stand-up comedian who hosts our monthly clean comedy night here at Georgia Ensemble Theatre!
GET IT High School Improv Troupe

We are BACK! The popular teen improv troupe "GET IT" (Georgia Ensemble Theatre Improv Troupe...get it?) is back! GET IT meets weekly on Saturdays with performances throughout the year. Students will work with skilled teaching artists and guests to create a strong performance ensemble!

Alice by Heart: A Winter Stage Story

Step into a world of imagination, music, and heart this winter! Georgia Ensemble Theatre invites middle and high school students to join us for our Winter Musical Intensive: Alice by Heart.
Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale, this reimagined musical takes audiences on a journey through Wonderland unlike any other—filled with moving songs, eccentric characters, and powerful themes of friendship, loss, and resilience.
Over the course of the program, students will:
✨ Bring the story of Alice by Heart to life on stage through acting, singing, and movement
✨ Develop their craft in a supportive, professional environment
✨ Learn collaboration, storytelling, and stage presence
✨ Perform in a fully staged winter musical production for friends, family, and the community
